A DAY OFF!
This is the first day off I have had from my job in a long time. So what am I going to do with all of the free time?
- Wedding Plans - For those of you that don't know, I will get to say "I do" in September. The REAL reason for taking the day off is to pick up our marriage license and invitations. Luckily, that leaves me with a 4 day weekend and a lot of extra time to get some things done.
- The Bikes - I am in the process of getting Jenn's Felt and my Ventana ready for Cartecay's 4th of July ride at Tanasi. Everything is pretty much ready and setup as of last night. I just need to make one final run through to make sure everything is set. This is going to be Jenn's first experience with extended climbing, so stayed tuned tomorrow for the results. The Terremoto is weighing in at 37.5 lbs, so I am a shoe-in for the heaviest bike out of the group. I will also be the only one seriously riding flats. I have come to the conclusion that I need to leave them on for awhile to get really used to them.
- Business Stuff - There are some administration blog things that need to be done along with some other business related tasks.
- Riding - Hopefully, I can get in a short warm-up ride today at Blankets Creek to get ready for the Tanasi ride tomorrow. Saturday and Sunday should be great for some other rides as well. I am just going to wait and see how everything pans out. It would be a shame to wast a 4 day weekend by only riding on 2 of the days.

Love the picture on the post
Have a good time tomorrow. Tansi kicks assi.
Being patient with Jenn should help you deal with getting the TM up the trail on flats. At least you have that small ring in the front this year.
