This is shocking but true...there are other things that you can do OTHER THAN RIDE A BIKE that will make you a better mountain biker. I know this is shocking and appalling, but it is time to warm up to the fact that other fitness conscience, like minded individuals have found ways to improve their life and health by finding happiness in other forms.

Today provided me with a unique look on the true greatness that is the cycling community. We have many different backgrounds, come from all age groups, have different riding abilities and have different riding styles, but when it all comes down to it...we stick together.

On my ride to work today, a thought occurred to me..."There is no other group of people like the cycling community." This very tight knit group has very diverse backgrounds, views, opinions and ages but in the end...they all get along great together with their common passion...biking. Every weekend there are large numbers of these groups getting together and sharing their love of the outdoors and their hobby.

Thanks to the guys over on the Turner board of MTBR...We have a great time line of the events that surround Turner Bikes. I have been a huge fan of Dave's bikes over the years (even owned one and will own more in the future), so I find this story very interesting.
