As the weather gets warmer, everyone starts preparing for the impending riding season. This means that business for bikes shops comes out of the usually slow winter season for a very busy spring. Overall, the forks look great even if I don't agree with going to 15mm. Fox has consistently put out high quality products, so we are safe to say these will be as well. It does appear that they are adding more features that the Rock Shox users have gotten used to for several years now.

The EVO Link is a one piece rocker link that Trek claims is 35% stiffer and 15% lighter than the conventional bolt together linkages. They are also able to make it out of several different materials. I really like the idea of having a one piece rocker arm, but it will be interesting to see if the numbers they claim are accurate.

Everyone that is saying that 15mm is going to be lighter than 20mm has no engineering background at all. All things created equal...the difference with the same materials and parts would at most be several grams...and this small difference would not be felt on the bike when it is actually ridden.
