3 videos from the Windrock DH playground outside of Nashville, TN. Windrock is the closest pure dh shuttle run in our area. Some say it is a harder ride than Whistler and a lot of pro's come from all around to tackle the rock.

So "the other half" was pouring hydrogen peroxide on the back of my leg from a pedal stabbing incident at Windrock when she looked at me and said "can't you ever not get hurt?" I don't know about you guys...but I thought it was hilarious. There is some truth to her statement, at least in her eyes. I do come home with at least something almost every other ride due to pushing something past its limit or from a freak incident.

Yesterday, a few of us (Tweety, JeffD, Chucky and Taz) went to Windrock to get in some long downhill runs. Jeff hooked me up with a 9" GT DHi with a Marzocchi 888 up front to tackle the rock and it ended up being a perfect ride for the day. It was Tweety's and my first trip up, and it was my first time on a full out downhill bike.
